A no-pressure first conversation
Support for you, or the two of you
Victoria, or anywhere in BC
We all need a safe place, and someone to help us.
Maybe you're carrying worry you can't seem to put down. Maybe you and your partner keep circling the same fight. Maybe you look fine on the outside but feel far from yourself. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to sort it out alone.
A calm place to landWelcome
Reaching out for therapy takes courage — and it shouldn't feel intimidating. My practice is warm and unpretentious: a place to slow down, feel genuinely heard, and make sense of what's been weighing on you.
Whether you're here on your own or with your partner, we'll turn honest conversation into real change — the kind you feel in your relationships and in how you move through your days.

A few of the things people work through with me — if you don't see yours, it still belongs.
My approach
I practise Relational Life Therapy — a modern, compassionate approach that meets you honestly. I won't sit silently and nod. I'll help you identify the patterns keeping you from realizing the life you want to live.
Depending on what you need, I also draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and parts-based (IFS) work. The heart of it is simple: a real relationship, real understanding, and change you can feel in everyday life.
Koby SmutyloGetting started
We'll spend 15 minutes on the phone so you can get a feel for me and share what's going on. No pressure, no commitment.
We go a little deeper on what brought you in and what you'd like to be different. You'll leave with a sense of direction — and usually something to try right away.
We meet regularly, in person in Victoria or online across BC, at a pace that fits you. You'll build the skills that change how you live and relate.
